Well, we couldn’t agree more on how popular the games on Facebook are. However, most of us don’t like getting requests from our friends to try some lame game. So, if you are bugged by all those game requests on Facebook, there are a few ways by which you can block them. Let’s figure out how in the following steps.
How to block requests
Although Facebook is huge, I’m pretty sure that everything is there if you know where to look for it. To the left side of your Newsfeed, you can find the settings. Go to the ‘Games’ link under the Apps heading in settings. On top there, you will find 2 links: Find Games and Activity. You just have to click on ‘Activity’ link and then click on ‘Invites’.
After doing this, there are 2 ways by which you can block a request. Click on the ‘Ignore All’ link next to each game or just click the ‘X’ next to the ‘Accept’ button to block the user and the game. It is best if you opt for the second method. However, if you rather prefer clicking on ‘Ignore All’, then you can block the game. So, when the game is blocked, you will get a dialog box on your screen which prompts you to confirm or cancel. You will have to click on ‘Confirm’
Using the preferred method, you should click on the ‘X’ mark next to the sender’s name to see the mentioned options. The first option is where you can block the game which prompts the dialog box on the screen. The interesting part is the second part by which you can simply ignore all requests from a particular user. By this way, you can handle the matter easily without unfriending the person.
You should know that you wouldn’t actually be blocking the sender by blocking the app. Most of the time, there is one particular game which everyone is playing and this makes blocking it really easy.
