CES 2014: EyeLock Myris Brings Eye Scanning to both consumers and enterprise customers.

Gone are the days when Apple’s fingerprints were latest in trend. Eyelock, a company that develops iris scanners for security checkpoints is now launching its technology into a consumer device. EyeLock Myris is a computer mouse sized device that scans your eye. You can plug it into a USB port on your Laptop, Computer, Tablet, or some other device. Once you do so you need to pick this small scanner, flip it over, and look at it and immediately sensor will scan your eye and verify your identity.
Anthony Antolino, The chief marketing officer for EyeLock says:

“Iris, as a human part of the body, is second only to DNA in terms of its ability to authenticate someone with certainty,” “No two people on the planet have the same iris texture. Not even identical twins.”

Being compatible with Windows PCs, Macs and even Chromebooks it works as your master password. Once you’r eye has been scanned and identified it will safely work as a password in any of your system.
Anthony Antolino says

“You really have the ability to have a friction-free, touch less, very high secure, very high convenient method of protecting your identity.”

The world we live in is a digital environment. We are reliant on these devices as vessels to everything that we do — our laptops, our smart phones, and our tablets. And everything we do requires an authenticator.”

EyeLock has planned to launc Myris later this year however no price has been set as of now.It will be available to both consumers and enterprise customers.
