CES 2014: First Ultra HD 4K Laptops introduced by Toshiba

Toshiba unveils world’s first Ultra HD 4K laptops Tecra W50 and Satellite P50tToshiba introduced world’s first super high-resolution 4K displays at CES in its second day, Tecra W50 portable workstation and the Satellite P50t. These 4K Laptops will be a great work for 4K movie enthusiasts and professional photographers.
Toshiba has yet not revealed about the specs of these 4K laptops , however both the Tecra W50 and Satellite P50t sport 15-inch 3840 x 2160 resolution screens with a pixel density of 282 pixels per inch.
According to Toshiba the W50 will come loaded with a full-voltage, fourth-generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage. Satellite P50t will be available with fourth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors.

In its press release, Toshiba said,

“The 15.6-inch diagonal displays of the Tecra W50 and Satellite P50t deliver native 3840 x 2160 resolutions at 282 PPI. To enhance the viewing experience for its users, the displays are also color calibrated with accurate color gamut and feature wide viewing angles,”

Toshiba’s First Ultra HD 4K Laptops are likely to hit market in mid of 2014, with the price tag of $5,999.
