An Osaka-based team comprising architects, chefs and a furniture designer designed an LED sculptural flashlight for the MoMA store that’s not only elegant and efficient but also eco-friendly.

This LED Flashlight Is Powered by Spherical Solar CellsThe so-called Sphelar Solar Flashlight is powered by a collection of eco-friendly, spherical solar cells embedded in handle. The spherical shape ensures that they capture the sun’s rays equally from all directions on all sides instead of just on the surface. When fully charged, the LED flashlight runs up to 4 hours. This flashlight is mounted on a wooden base to provide stability while charging.
