It’s hard to stay focused when your phone is running out of battery while you’re on the go. And sometimes you’ll get frustrated when you don’t find a charging outlet for a long time. But with a portable charger, you’ll always have enough power to juice up your device no matter where you are.
There are plenty of portable USB chargers out there, but they aren’t that efficient as they are supposed to be. Microsoft has recently released a new portable power charger, under the brand name of Microsoft itself. Microsoft Portable Power is lightweight and compact, so it’s easy to carry.
The new power charger includes a power capacity of 6000mAh, which is good enough to charge two Lumia series smartphones twice and claims that each device will be 100% charged in just four hours.
Like we said there are plenty of such portable chargers in the market, but what makes Microsoft Portable Power battery unique is that the company claims it is as efficient as their wall charger, the AC -60.
Microsoft claims that the portable charger withstands tough weather condition with a temperature between 15 Degrees and 55 Degrees Celsius. The battery can retain almost 80% of its charge even if unused for six months. The Portable Power is compatible with devices like Nokia-Lumia-830, Lumia 735, and 830. This handy portable charger measures just 99.5×43.9×25.4m and weighs just 145 grams. A cable 25 cm long supports both USB and micro USB. The soft LED lights keep you informed on the remaining level of charge in this portable charger.
Priced at 39€ / $49 USD, this pocket-friendly charger will be available in white, bright green and bright orange, and will be hitting the shelves in October.
