Alexander Dick a fresh graduate from School of Art Institute of Chicago has passion towards designing furniture and hand-held objects and hand bags. One of his latest designs includes the 2-bino – a table lamp, a recreation of the iconic Tubino lamp design to meet the needs of modern users. The original Tubino lamp was designed by the brothers Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1948.
The versatile 2-bino features a perfect flexible design. The neck leading to the head of the lamp can be customized to any shape. You can use it as a bedside lamp, on the study table or hang it down from the ceiling as a pendant light.
The lamp also features a light adjusting switch and a chrome reflector for more defined light reflection. The lamp works well with LED bulb. The designer has not revealed anything about production of this unique design.
