Google officially unveiled the brand new HTC made Nexus 9 tablet on Wednesday, an 8.9-inch device which will arrive running the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The new device is now available for pre-order and the first units will start shipping November 3. You can pre-order yours from HTC, Amazon, Best Buy, and the Play Store. With its 8.9inch display, the Nexus 9 is Google’s most advanced tablet to date. The slate features a brushed metal frame, 64-bit dual-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor clocked at 2.3 Ghz. Other features include front-facing stereo speakers with HTC Boomsound, a detachable keyboard folio, an 8-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash 1.6MP secondary cam, and a 6,700 mAh battery.
As of now, the tablet is only available to order in black or white, but a sand colored variant will be out later this year. The Nexus 9 is available as a Wi-Fi only variant with 16GB of internal storage for $399, while the 32GB is $80 more expensive, being priced at $479.
The Nexus 9 should be available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, India, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States.
