The folks at Wikipad have announced a version of their popular Gamevice Android Gamepad for Apple’s iPad mini that promises gamers the precision and button-mashing fun they’ve been craving.
The MFi controller clamps to the sides of Apple’s tablet, bringing more traditional gaming controls to the tablet. This sleek peripheral packs two joysticks, a D-pad, four buttons, and a couple of extra keys on the front of the device that has become second nature to console gamers.
The Gamevice will be compatible with any iOS app that supports Apple’s MFi gamepad standard, meaning the accessory will support all major iOS titles that are controller compatible such as Call of Duty, The Walking Dead, Limbo, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.
It may look awkward to use in the public when its attached to the mini, but when has that ever stopped you.
